AED Training
AED use training was coordinated and conducted on November 15th and December 6th, 2021. During these training events, representatives of the 13 sport establishments attended and prepared on AED device details and proper use. Official CPR training course will be coordinated and conducted in January 2022.
Educational and Awareness Campaign
As a first step in our educational campaign, standing banners were designed with visuals of the necessary steps to properly use an AED. In addition, dual language (English + Spanish) instructional posters were designed and placed inside each of the AED case kits that were donated. These posters contain visuals and easy-to-follow instructions on AED’s proper use in case of an emergency.
A media educational campaign will launch early 2022, including newspaper and billboard ads, social media posts, and radio service announcements.
